What is Ghyll Scrambling? Ghyll scrambling consists of working your way up or down a gorge with a powerful flow of river water tumbling on top of you. You can climb across rock faces, jump across boulders, climb up waterfalls and slide down natural river chutes. The water you will jump in will never be above waiste height so you dont even need to be a strong swimmer to participate and it is also suitable for people of all ages and of all levels of fitness. You will need things such as good balance, coordination and strenghth. A key factor to ghyll scrambling it teamwork and communication skills
Equpiment All you need to bring with you is appropriate outdoor clothing and sensible footwear, you will get provided with the neccesary safety equipment such as a wet-suit and a helmet.
